2014 was an amazing year for the LGBT and HIV rights movements. At Lambda Legal, we are proud of the victories and the progress we made.

In the past 12 months, the number of states in which same-sex couples could marry grew from 14 to 35, and now a majority of the U.S. population lives in a freedom to marry state.
