Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) has finalized a a new rule that would deny Medicaid coverage for all medically necessary gender-affirming care for both youth and adults. This includes medically necessary gender-affirming care, such as puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries.

Southern Legal Counsel, Florida Health Justice Project, Lambda Legal, and National Health Law Program are prepared to fight this rule and need your help.  By sharing your story below, you can help us better understand how this rule will affect people and assist us in our efforts to fight this discriminatory Rule.
