Lambda Legal Names Merrill Lynch as Corporate Partner for Equality

(Dallas, TX, July 31, 2012) – Lambda Legal’s South Central Regional Office announced today that Merrill Lynch Wealth Management will be the recipient of its 2012 Corporate Partners for Equality Award.

Merrill Lynch has been a national sponsor of Lambda Legal since 2004, as have been the local Merrill Lynch sponsors, Julie Hash and Carol Meyer of The Meyer Group. The organization often partners with Lambda Legal in presenting our Life Planning seminars which are designed to assist the LGBT community in creating a secure future for their families. In the Dallas Metro area, Merrill Lynch sponsors our annual Liberty Circle Appreciation Party, Women's Brunch and the Landmark Dinner.

Merrill Lynch joins previously announced winners Charles MarLett and the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. The Partners for Equality award recognizes an individual, law firm and corporation in the Dallas area for their commitment and dedication to Lambda Legal's mission to achieve equality for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and people living with HIV. The award will be presented at Lambda Legal's Landmark Dinner on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Hotel Palomar.
