Lambda Legal Welcomes Jamie Gliksberg as New Staff Attorney in Chicago

(Chicago, IL, September 25, 2017)—Lambda Legal announced today the addition of Jamie Gliksberg to the organization as a staff attorney in its Midwest Regional Office, located in Chicago. Gliksberg comes to Lambda Legal from Steptoe & Johnson and previously, Sidley Austin. She has experience in a variety of civil rights matters, including advocacy on behalf of prisoners, immigrant victims of violent crime, and asylum seekers, including individuals seeking relief from persecution in their home countries on the basis of their LGBT status.

Gliksberg is a graduate of Northwestern Law School where she graduated cum laude and was a member of the Order of the Coif, as well as the Managing Editor and Articles Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy. Also as a law student, she was a senior researcher on First Amendment issues. She received a B.S. in Middle Eastern and North African Studies from the University of Michigan, where she graduated from the University’s Honors program with High Distinction and High Honors. Jamie previously was a PILI graduate fellow in the Midwest Regional Office. Jamie is a member of the Illinois Bar.
