Additional Recommendations for the National HIV/AIDS Strategy

Lambda Legal, the Center for HIV Law and Policy, and the AIDS Project of the ACLU presented additional recommendations to the federal Office of National AIDS Policy for its consideration in developing the National HIV/AIDS Strategy (NHAS). The comments request specific actions that will help reduce HIV stigma and thus help achieve the President’s goals for the NHAS, by addressing HIV ignorance, ensuring effective HIV testing, and ending state-supported stigma and discrimination.
