Victory! The Supreme Court let stand appeals court rulings allowing same-sex couples to marry in five states — a victory for Lambda Legal’s marriage cases in Indiana and Virginia. Same-sex couples may marry in 36 states, DC, and parts of KS and MO: Explore our interactive map (click on “Marriage and Relationships”).

But there’s still work to be done. Same-sex couples are in loving, committed relationships in every region of our nation, and all deserve to be treated with respect. Keep track of all pending marriage equality cases nationwide.
