Leading the fight for Equality
The Liberty Circle is a select group of people who make significant personal commitments to Lambda Legal. Liberty Circle members have diverse backgrounds. What they share in common is a central goal of achieving justice and equal rights for LGBT people and those with HIV everywhere through Lambda Legal's impact litigation, education and public policy work.
Through their critical financial support of Lambda Legal, Liberty Circle members are essential partners in our work. Liberty Circle members' exemplary commitment maintains the financial viability of the organization in order to:
- Keep Lambda Legal on the frontlines of relationship recognition including the fight for marriage rights.
- Pioneer legal protections for LGBT people and people with HIV from violence and harassment
- Promote LGBT parents' rights in custody, visitation and adoption.
- Ensure LGBT youth can get the education and services they need without , harassment or censorship.
- Support litigation to ensure equal rights in the workplace
