Out, Safe & Respected

Lambda Legal offers a variety of resources for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth and their allies to take action in their homes and schools.

Out, Safe and Respected Tool Kit

The Out, Safe & Respected tool kit provides information on negotiating with school boards and administrators, as well as working with students to organize groups addressing diversity and LGBTQ student needs. It also outlines the legal protections already in place for LGBTQ students and gives them tools they can use to make their schools more LGBT-friendly.
