Youth
All lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) young people have the right to be safe and respected and free from discrimination and harassment. Whether it's in the hallways at school or in a homeless shelter, young people are badly damaged by homophobic messages and actions. Lambda Legal secures equality for LGBTQ youth in the schools and in out-of-home care (foster care, juvenile facilities, homelessness programs). We also work for equal treatment in other organized youth activities, as we did in our landmark U.S. Supreme CourtSupreme Court The highest court in the United States, which has the ultimate power to decide constitutional questions(more keywords) case challenging the discriminatory policies of the Boy Scouts.
