Florida Court Upholds Alimony Obligation for Transgender Ex-Spouse: Lambda Legal Says 'Good News, Bad News'

Lambda Legal Urges Florida Court to Uphold Alimony Agreement for Transgender Ex-Spouse

(Clearwater, FL, March 27, 2007) — At a hearing today, Tuesday, March 27th, Lambda Legal Senior Staff Attorney, Gregory R. Nevins, will present arguments to the Sixth Circuit Court for Pinellas County to refute the claims in a lawsuit brought by a man who believes he no longer has to pay alimony to his former spouse, who is transgender.

Illinois Civil Union Bill Approved by Committee: Lambda Legal Supports Measure to Reduce Harm for Same-Sex Couples
