(Portland, January 17, 2013) - Lambda Legal today announced that the State of Oregon has changed an employee health care policy to remove all language that denies coverage to transgender people for transition-related health care. The change came in response to a lawsuit filed by Lambda Legal and cooperating attorney Jennifer Middleton on behalf of Alec Esquivel.

(Atlanta, August 22, 2012) - Today, Lambda Legal announced it has accepted the settlement offer to resolve the discrimination lawsuit against the City of Atlanta. The lawsuit is on behalf of its anonymous client, who applied to be a police officer with the Atlanta Police Department (APD) but was denied employment because of his HIV status.

(Fort Worth, TX, July 17, 2012) - Tarrant County College (TCC) and former TCC Professor Jacqueline Gill have agreed to settle the federal discrimination lawsuit Gill brought against TCC claiming that officials of the college discriminated against her because of her sexual orientation.
