(New Orleans, December 20, 2005) — In a ruling made public yesterday, the Court of Appeal for the Fourth Circuit of Louisiana upheld a lower court ruling protecting New Orleans’ Domestic Partnership Registry and health insurance benefits for domestic partners of the city’s employees after a legal attack from the Alliance Defense Fund, an antigay legal group.

(St. Louis, Missouri, February 13, 2006) — In oral arguments today at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, the American Civil Liberties Union and Lambda Legal urged the court to uphold a lower court ruling which struck down the extreme antigay family law in Nebraska banning all protections for the relationships of same-sex couples.

ST. LOUIS — In legal papers filed today, Lambda Legal and the American Civil Liberties Union will ask a federal appeals court to reconsider its July 14th ruling upholding an extreme Nebraska law that bans all protections for same-sex couples.
