Eagle Scout Dale and his attorneys with Lambda will comment shortly after High Court rules

(NEW YORK, June 23, 2000) —Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund said Friday that Eagle Scout James Dale and his attorney, Lambda Senior Staff Attorney Evan Wolfson, will be available for comment on the day the United States Supreme Court rules in the Dale’s landmark challenge to the Boy Scouts of America’s ban on gay members. The High Court may rule as early as Monday on the Boy Scouts of America’s appeal from the New Jersey Supreme Court. On the day of the ruling, Dale and his attorneys with Lambda Legal Defense will speak to reporters with a phone teleconference in the morning and a news conference early that afternoon:
