WHEN: Monday, December 8, 2003, 12:30 p.m. E.S.T.

WASHINGTON -- The National Black Justice Coalition, an ad hoc consortium of black lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community leaders, will hold a press conference on Monday, December 8 to announce a new national campaign against the proposed constitutional amendment to discriminate against gay and unmarried couples. The leaders will announce a major fundraising drive and a targeted ad campaign to generate black support for marriage equality.

The press conference will take place on Monday, December 8, 2003 in the Zenger Room of the National Press Club at 529 14th St. NW, 13th Floor, Washington, D.C.
