Illinois Court Hears Arguments in Antigay Group's Effort to Join Lambda Legal Marriage Case 09/27/2012

(Chicago, IL, September 27, 2012)—Today the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division heard oral arguments in a motion to intervene by the Illinois Family Institute in Darby v. Orr, Lambda Legal's case seeking the freedom to marry for same-sex couples in Illinois. The Court decided to continue the motion pending similar requests from two Illinois churches.

Atlanta to Pay $250K to Lambda Legal Client Denied Police Officer Position Because of HIV Status 08/22/2012
